Miss Meghan will be coming to Nordstrom Boston (Burlington location!) and Seattle to talk Spring Shoe Therapy (R) — and give you the scoop on all the must-haves for your Spring shoe wardrobe, including shoes to splurge on and and shoes to score!

A super fun shoe fashion show will be followed by one on one time with Meghan who will be able to give you your personalized Shoe Prescription (R) for Spring.

As you know, Nordstrom has been selling amazing shoes since 1901 when a very enterprising man from Sweden named John Nordstrom who was tuned into women’s love for shoes, started a small shoe store in Seattle. What a wise and wonderful man! Since then, they have always had an amazing shoe selection and you should see what they have this Spring – the hottest trends for every budget.

AN OBAMA BOOT?

Well this is quite interesting I must say.

A few months ago, I received the lookbook from Coclico one of my favorite shoe brands. In it there was a boot that I thought was extremely winning. Perfect heel height, wonderful leather, key design details like some piping up the side, and I thought, what a perfect boot.

Now, I find out the boot’s name is: OBAMA. And the designer, Sandra, is french and since she can’t vote, she decided to name a boot after her favorite candidate. How fun is that?

It goes to show you once again how you can express yourself through your shoes.

Now, no matter who is your fave — be sure to vote on November 4th.

Got to catch up with the girls (and guys!) from the Sex and the City movie this weekend at the junket in New York. I also got to SEE the movie — and I must say you will love, love, love it. It is all about that amazing girlfriend connection these four women have, and the eternal quest for true love — done with a very light touch and an amazing focus on their inner intimate lives in such an amazing way. There was not a dry eye in the house either.

Chatted with Sarah Jessica, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Jennifer Hudson in person on Sunday. Yes they were all wearing Stilettos and you know what that means.

Here is the shoe breakdown:

Cynthia: Shoe: One-strap simple black stiletto sandals: Mood: straightforward and sexy, no muss

Kim: Shoe: Blue, python, pointy toe multiple strap stiletto sandals: Mood: sensuous and feminine, playful

SJP: Shoe: Fierce platinum, studded, ankle strap chunky platform sandals: Mood: Don’t mess with my fashion fierceness!

Kristin: Shoe: nude platform three strap stiletto sandals, very gladiator-esque: Mood: engaged, sophisticated and real

Jennifer: Shoe: simple black pointy toe stilettos: Mood: I threw these on because I had to! (turns out, Jennifer is really a barefoot girl who loves bags wayyyy more than shoes! Stay tuned this month for more on that.)

And let me put to rest any rumors about any of them not getting along — there was so much hugging and squealing going on you might have thought they hadn’t seen each other in years! Let me also attest to their natural beauty as well – they all looked even more gorgeous than they do in the film if that is possible. SJP was rocking the fashion feeling in a big way –bottle green Lanvin dress and clutch, bracelets from those-in-the-know vintage showroom Seedhouse, the abovementioned (and shown) Proenza platforms.

9WEST SHOE STAR

So I got to have a little sneak preview last night at a private viewing of the latest episode of Shoe Star, a fun contest put on by Nine West and Footwear News where seven shoe designers compete a la Project Runway, to win the design competition and a position designing shoes at Nine West. I can’t tell you what happened on the episode I saw last night but let’s just say keep an eye on my fave two contestants — the ever-feisty Karen Hsieh and the extremely cute Ryan Baker.

Had a blast taping for the New Line Sex and the City special on HBO today. That is me getting mic’ed up below. So many shoe girls who confessed their love of shoes — I confirmed a few theories I have, mainly that shoes really are therapy for every woman.The obsession continues May 30th — we will be at the premiere and I will give you the full details on what shoes the girls wear!(Oh! And my fave look from the very last season here.)

Here I am at the tents – had just gotten out of the Betsey Johnson show — 30 years of her creations plus a pack of pink see through undies!

MSN caught up with me and I am wearing Shelley Steffee one of my fave designers. Her Spring collection is how do I say, MAJOR. Lots of gorgeous colors — citrusy kelly green and this beautiful navy ink satin you see in this dress. Was wearing my black patent Valentino pumps with the sweetheart cutout toebox.
