The most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes...were actually boots. They were boots from Aldos and they cost me $185.00 on sale. I still have the chocolate brown leather boots, almost to the knee, pointy with high 4" heels. Gorgeous!!

My favourite shoes in the whole series are the Miu Miu pink & brown snakeskin platform heels Carrie wears in the first episode of series 6 when she rings the bell at Wall St, after getting the subway and twisted up in some dog leashes. They make a slight repeat appearance when Carrie has lost her Manolos at a party and is going through her closet. I love them and have been trying to track them down for years with no luck! I know it's a bit sad that I know all the episodes, but I just love it! The most I ever spent on a pair of shoes was €250 at a shop in Rome and £180 on a pair of Uggs in the UK - love them both, worth every penny!

The most I've ever spent on shoes is $100 for a wedding. I can't even remember the name of them! They were for a wedding and I only wore them once!

I love my shoes, like I love my men. I want to feel comfortable when they massage my feet; I want them to always look and smell good; it doesn't matter the color; they need to stay in shape -- because once they lose their shape or look dingy, they have to get the boot (no pun intended). I don't spend more than $60 on a pair of shoes because I always find a great deal on them. =)

Carrie: Have you?
Mr. Big: Have I what?
Carrie: Ever been in love.
Mr Big: Absofuckinglutely.

I think the most I have spent is actually under $100, but if you count the shoes I have worn from my mom, the number is more like $500....

I would have to say the most I have ever spent on a pair of shows would have to be $150. They were on a pair of Doc Martins. Yes they were my favorite ones too. I wore them with almost everything. I loved them so much. I think the fact I was 15 years of age and I saved up my money just so I could get them. I wore them till I could fit in them anymore.

The most I have ever spent on a pair of black shoes was $250.00, well actually I spent around 500.00 because I bought my mother the same pair but in brown. They were a pair of Coach boots, from off Saks Fifth Ave. I have had them for at least 7 years now, and still wear them to this day, most comfortable pair of boots I own. Nowadays, I wouldn't dream of spending that much on a pair of shoes, but it was nice to splurge for something that turned out to last me for quite a while.

I am 51 years old. I have always loved shoes. I buy my shoes first, then an outfit to match them. The most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes is $350.00. I usually find shoes on sale at the main department stores in Los Angeles. Sometimes I buy 2 or 3 when they are marked down 50-80%. I don't have any real business buying these shoes as I am a dock worker and must wear steel toed boots to work. I have some of the shoes that I bought when I was a teen and early 20's. The cost back then was $100.00 - $150.00, I was young, no children, so what was one more payment on the credit card? Now my daughter is 28, she encourages me to go shoe shopping as she knows I may wear them 2 or 3 times and then give them to her -- what a high fashion shoe wardrobe she has.
