They make a slight repeat appearance when Carrie has lost her Manolos at a party and is going through her closet. I love them and have been trying to track them down for years with no luck! I know it's a bit sad that I know all the episodes, but I just love it! The most I ever spent on a pair of shoes was €250 at a shop in Rome and £180 on a pair of Uggs in the UK - love them both, worth every penny! I want to feel comfortable when they massage my feet; I want them to always look and smell good; it doesn't matter the color; they need to stay in shape -- because once they lose their shape or look dingy, they have to get the boot (no pun intended). I don't spend more than $60 on a pair of shoes because I always find a great deal on them. =) I love my shoes, like I love my men. They were a pair of Coach boots, from off Saks Fifth Ave. I have had them for at least 7 years now, and still wear them to this day, most comfortable pair of boots I own. Nowadays, I wouldn't dream of spending that much on a pair of shoes, but it was nice to splurge for something that turned out to last me for quite a while. Now my daughter is 28, she encourages me to go shoe shopping as she knows I may wear them 2 or 3 times and then give them to her -- what a high fashion shoe wardrobe she has. I am 51 years old.
